New York University (NYU) is a private, nons-ectarian American research university supported by the New York City. New York
University was founded in 1831, NYU is single of the largest private non-profit University of America in the higher education.

Liberty, signifying NYU's service to New York City. The torch is represented
on both the NYU stick down and the more abstract NYU logo, planned in 1965 by well-known
graphic designer Tom Geismar of
